About us
We are a family team who have always been passionate about beer, especially Belgian strong ales
and more recently, craft produced beers from American microbreweries.
During the late 1980s / early 1990s we operated a specialist beer shop called ‘Beers Unique’ at
North Shields in the North East, where we imported and retailed a wide range of Belgian bottled beers.
Brewing knowledge was obtained through Sunderland Universities ‘Brewlab’ courses, and experience
gained by almost two years working with ‘Hadrian Brewery’ in Newcastle – upon – Tyne.
There followed several years of recipe development on a very small scale for our personal pleasure,
we then decided 2008 was the right time to develop our interest into a commercial enterprise in order
to share our exciting beer range with you. We hope you will have as much enjoyment tasting our beers
as we have had making them.
