Our Beer range
We are dedicated to developing a diverse and exciting range of beer styles by making use
of the many new types of malts and hops that are being developed and introduced to the
brewing industry.
We are planning beers that will be radically different from the vast majority of those
currently being marketed by other producers. The emphasis of the Madcap beers will be the
production of beers that are radical in style, strength and flavour. Typically the beers
will have between 7% -12% Alcohol by content and be, where practicable, bottle conditioned.
Our aim is to develop three distinct beer ranges. Some of the beers and names may change as
we develop into next year, especially the cask beers as we hope to tailor the beer to the local
taste and would welcome feedback from our customers in order to brew products
that they like drinking.
Heritage
Bottled - dedicated to the reproduction of classic beer styles that are as close as possible
to their original recipes and strengths.

Cask Conditioned - limited range of lower strength ales between 4.5% - 6% for sale at
selected real ale pubs and beer festivals within the local area.
